A note to owners and CFOs

The best opportunities rarely wait for the bank’s calendar.

You built a company that does real revenue, and opportunity finds companies like yours: a customer wants you to take on a bigger contract, a competitor is ready to sell, a second facility makes sense now, the right people are available this quarter.

Each of those is a yes that grows the business. What decides whether you can say it is usually timing. Revenue is strong, but cash is tied up in receivables, inventory or the last expansion, and a traditional credit process can take longer than the opportunity stays open.

That is the gap I have worked in for 12 years. At National Business Capital I can bring you options from two directions: funding directly from National, and offers from its network of lending partners. Then we put them side by side and pick the structure that fits the goal, the timeline and how your business actually runs.

If there is something on your calendar you would like to say yes to, start with the short capital review below. I will tell you plainly what fits.

What the capital is for

Built around what you want to say yes to.

I start with the opportunity and what it is worth to the business, then work back to the right program, amount and timing.

01

The next contract

Fund materials, mobilization and payroll so you can accept larger orders and longer payment terms with confidence.

02

Expansion

Open the location, add the line, enter the territory or buy the equipment while demand is there.

03

Acquisition

Close the gap between senior debt, seller financing and equity with subordinated capital, and fund the integration after closing.

04

Hiring and talent

Bring on the leaders and teams that growth requires, ahead of the revenue they will produce.

Programs

Five ways to put capital to work.

Often the strongest answer combines more than one. Through National Business Capital I compare direct and partner options side by side, so you choose with the full picture.

01

Cash flow financing

Seven-figure working capital with repayment tied to revenue, used to fund contracts, payroll, inventory and growth when you need to move quickly.

Best when speed matters most
02

Term loans

A lump sum repaid on a set schedule, suited to expansion, facilities and other investments where the costs are known upfront.

Best for planned growth investments
03

Business lines of credit

A revolving line you draw on as needs arise and pay down as cash comes in, smoothing seasonality and large-order cycles.

Best for recurring or uneven needs
04

Subordinated debt & acquisition capital

Junior capital that sits between senior debt and equity: acquisition gap funding, bridge situations, recapitalizations and post-acquisition working capital, without giving up ownership.

Best for buyers, roll-ups and complex capital stacks
05

Equipment financing

New or upgraded equipment financed against the equipment itself, so capacity grows without a large upfront outlay.

Best for capacity and capex

Programs are offered by National Business Capital directly or through its lending partners. Availability, amounts, terms and costs depend on underwriting and are disclosed before you accept any offer.

How it works

Three steps from opportunity to offer.

1

Capital review

Answer a few questions about your company, the opportunity and your timing. It takes about three minutes.

2

Strategy call

Book a time with me to walk through the goal, the numbers and which structures make sense.

I prepare your file, work it with National’s underwriting team and lending partners, and bring the offers back to you to compare and decide.

Step 1 of 4
What is your company’s annual revenue?

Questions

What owners usually ask first.

What size of company and deal do you work with?

I focus on established companies with roughly $10M to $100M+ in annual revenue, and on buyers acquiring companies of that size. Most requests are for seven-figure amounts.

How quickly can funding happen?

It depends on the program and how quickly documents come together. Some working capital programs can move quickly; term, line and acquisition structures take longer because of deeper underwriting. I will give you a realistic timeline on our call.

Why don’t you list rates on the site?

Cost depends on the program, the funding source, the amount, the term and your company’s financial profile. Rather than quote a number that may not apply, I show you the actual terms of each offer, side by side, before you decide anything.

What will I need to provide?

Typically recent business bank statements, financial statements and tax returns, and a schedule of existing debt. For acquisitions, the letter of intent or purchase agreement and the proposed capital stack. I will tell you exactly what is needed after our call.

Is National Business Capital the lender?

National can provide up to $15M in direct business capital and also works with a network of lending partners. Depending on your goals, your offers may come from National directly, from a partner, or both. Approval and final terms are set by the funding source after underwriting.

Will the review affect my credit?

Starting a review will not affect your credit score.

Is there any obligation?

No. The capital review and our call are there to help you see your options. You decide whether to move forward with any offer.
